Mission Statement
Adolescent Counseling Services is committed to the treatment of youth and their families in a manner that meets the needs of the client, family, and community. Community Safety is priority; all individuals deserve to live in a safe nurturing environment. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care and treatment to youth and families in need and to remain committed to the needs of our clients throughout the treatment process. We aim to empower youth and families to by providing mental health services and interventions in the community.
Philosophy
Adolescent Counseling Services works from the proactive stance rather than a reactive to assist families in the community. Community-based interventions are our primary approach. We believe it is imperative to reach youth and family’s collaboration in the home, schools, and communities is necessary.
What are Community-Based Services?
Adolescent Counseling Services recognize communities have struggled to keep up with the demand of families especially those who are experiencing significant problems leading to frustration, confusion, despair, violence and broken homes. We believe in improving family functioning so that families may reach their full and healthy potential. Our hope is to assist the family to develop significant family experiences and lasting changes which lead to happier and healthier families, thus making for safer homes and communities
